Week 5 PPR Rankings

It is truly the year of the quarterback. From veterans like Matt Ryan and Philip Rivers to young stars such as Patrick Mahomes and Jared Goff, quarterback play across the league is trending upward.

This translates to fantasy football, as I believe there are 18 legitimate starting QB options this week. While quarterback is extremely deep right now, running back and tight end are thin. You might have to settle for a bad matchup or start a high-risk waiver pickup.

Remember, season-long fantasy football is all about starting the players you believe give you the best chance to beat your opponent. Minimize risk and maximize opportunity: that’s the name of the game. Now, on to this week’s rankings.
