The Stream Life: Week 11
The Stream Life does it again! Another week of streamers living the luxurious life and now the pressure is on to deliver again in Week 11. There are 6 NFL teams on a BYE this week and 4 of them reside in the AFC East. We understand the significance of this article this week. First, let’s review how last week went for The Stream Life: The 5th & 6th QB, 1 top-10 TE, I know, the suggestion of Jack Doyle didn’t go so well as two other TE’S for the Colts combined for 4 TD’S. 2 top-10 D/ST and each kicker scored 9 points. When it’s all said and done, last week was yet another very positive week for The Stream Life. These are the guy’s living The Stream Life for week 11:
QB: Dak Prescott: Cowboys at Falcons
The Dallas Cowboys are coming off a huge win against the Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles. Dak Prescott scored 2 TD’S but Ezekiel Elliot stole the show with over 150 rushing yards. The Atlanta Falcons just allowed Baker Mayfield to throw for 3 TD’S. The Falcons surrender 28 points per game and with this week 11 match up all but assuring the loser is out of the playoffs the mobility of Prescott should play a factor. Over Prescott’s last 4 games he has scored at least 2 TD’S per game. Prescott’s 270 passing yards last week were his 2nd highest this season. Streaming against the Falcons defense is a decent option this week.
QB: Lamar Jackson: Ravens vs Bengals
Captain Obvious checking in here. The Cincinnati Bengals defense is statistically awful right now. With a lot of question marks around the health of Joe Flacco’s hip, The Stream Life is cannonballing into the waters with Lamar Jackson. Over the Bengals last 3 games, they have given up 10 TD’S to opposing QB’S. Fair warning, those QB’S were Patrick Mahomes, Jameis Winston/Ryan Fitzpatrick, and Drew Brees. While we should temper expectations for Jackson’s potentially first career start the Bengals are on pace to give up the most yards allowed in league history. In the Baltimore Ravens, last 3 games Jackson has 11 rushing attempts. The Stream Life is all in on the mobile QB this week.
QB: Marcus Mariota: Titans at Colts
The Stream Life is giving out a 3rd QB just in case Lamar Jackson doesn’t see the field this weekend. Marcus Mariota is soo hot right now. He has 5 total touchdowns over his last 2 games. This week Mariota gets to play indoors against a Colts defense that just allowed over 20 points to the mediocre Jaguars offense. The Stream Life loves mobile QB’S where you can get additional fantasy points for rushing yards. This is now back-to-back weeks Mariota is on The Stream Life and for good reason, as the Colts have allowed 5 passing TD’S over their last 2 games against the Oakland Raiders and Jacksonville Jaguars.
TE: Vance McDonald: Steelers at Jaguars
The Pittsburgh Steelers have so many weapons it’s easy to get lost in the shuffle. While we don’t know which Jacksonville Jaguars defense will show up we can expect some fantastic WR-CB match-ups in this one. If the Jaguars get their pass rush going again than Ben Roethlisberger won’t have much time to throw the ball and will be looking for his TEs. Vance McDonald is the athletic type of TE needed to go against the speedy Jaguars linebackers. The Jaguars have allowed 5 TD’S to TEs over their last two games. Vance McDonald isn’t a sure play this week, but he’s a TE who caught a TD last week and has at least 3 catches in his last 4 games.
TE: Jeff Heuerman: Broncos at Chargers
This TE play is more intriguing this weekend. Jeff Heuerman of the Denver Broncos caught 10 passes for 83 yards and a TD in week 9. The Broncos are coming off their BYE which should have given the team more time to find ways to utilize the 4th year TE out of Ohio State. Since October, Heuerman has received at least 4 targets in all but 1 game. While it’s safe to say he’s unlikely to get 11 targets again this week the Los Angeles Chargers have given up a touchdown to opposing TEs in 3 of their last 4 games. Stream with a little confidence.
Team D/ST: Cardinals vs Raiders
This is a play solely against the Oakland Raiders. The offense for the Raiders has been downright awful. For starters, the Raiders have allowed 12 sacks over the last 2 weeks. Over the Raiders last 5 games, they have scored over 10 points just 1 time. That was against the Colts, a week The Stream Life suggested Derek Carr. Anyway, The Arizona Cardinals at least haven’t given up on the season. The Stream Life is willing to back the Cardinals in what should be a low scoring, ugly, football game with a lot of sacks and 3rd and longs. Maybe we can get a special team or defensive touchdown?
Team D/ST: Panthers at Lions
The Stream Life is rolling the dice with a road team this week. The Carolina Panthers were absolutely embarrassed on Thursday Night Football against the Pittsburgh Steelers last week. The Panthers defense will be hungry to bounce back and this is the perfect opportunity for that. The Detroit Lions have given up 19 sacks, 3 interceptions, 4 fumbles, and 1 TD over their last 3 games! This Panthers defense can be underrated and the Lions offense is bad, injured, and does all their damage in garbage time. We like this play for week 11.
Kicker: Ryan Succop: Titans at Colts
Here is one of the better kickers in the game. The Tennessee Titans offense is clicking and the Indianapolis Colts are one of the worst teams against fantasy kickers. Ryan Succop is coming off back-to-back weeks with 4 PAT’S made. The Stream Life would expect some of those touchdown drives to stall out at some point and when they do, Succop will be worth owning. With the game being played indoors and weather not being a factor, stream with confidence!
Kicker: Justin Tucker: Ravens vs Bengals
Speaking of great kickers, Justin Tucker is arguably the best in the game. With the Baltimore Ravens on a BYE last week there’s a chance he was dropped in your league. Tucker is coming off a 3-3 FG game prior to the BYE week and this week gets to face the Cincinnati Bengals who rank as one of the worst teams against fantasy kickers. If Lamar Jackson gets the start it’s possible drives will stall out towards the end zone. When in the red zone and near the goal line there’s less field to play with which could result in some chip shot field goals for Mr. Automatic, Justin Tucker. If Tucker is available, you’re streaming him with confidence this week.
Thanks for stopping by The Stream Life and as always, good luck to everyone in fantasy unless you’re going against me. Twitter is @bferrer
