IDP Corner: Week 13

  1. What a sleep deprived fever week that has gone by. I don’t know about all y’all, but I’m still feeling my Thanksgiving hangover a week plus out. Hopefully these guys can help you in your pursuits for a fantasy postseason birth.

Defensive Linemen:
Brandon Graham: Providing solid production all season, Graham should have some fun with the notorious Seahawks offensive line.

Willie Henry: On a two week roll coming off of Baltimore’s bye week, Detroit doesn’t have that great of a running game, which should allow for Baltimore’s defensive line disrupt plenty of their plans.

Danny Trevathan: Back from injury this week, he’ll be a good grab if anyone in your league dropped him going into Chicago’s bye week.

Blair Brown: The rookie should get the chance to play in place of Telvin Smith. While Paul Posluszny should also take on some more snaps, he is showing signs of his tenure and Brown will be the one to see significantly more playing time than what he was previously logging.

Jordan Evans: I looks like Kevin Minter, Vincent Rey, and Nick Vigil could all be out or limited, so Evans should have a clear path to starting and seeing a majority of snaps. Given that the Steelers are on the field with the Bengals this week Evans should have plenty of chances to make tackles.

Elandon Roberts: While plenty of attention has been targeted at Trey Flowers this week if Kyle Van Noy is out, I feel Roberts has the real chance at significant production. Flowers has seen limited play time after Dont’a Hightower went down, while Roberts has continued to see plenty of time on the field.

Defensive Backs:
Justin Simmons: The second year player has been consistently seeing the most snaps at safety for the Broncos. He’s put together a pretty strong floor week to week, and looks like he’ll continue to do so.

Miles Killebrew: When seeing over 60% of snaps in weeks 2-4 earlier this season Killebrew had some decent tackle and pass deflection numbers, now with Tavon Wilson out, he should see similar playing time.

Good luck to you all this week as you make your final push to the playoffs. If you have any questions of the Guru family, be sure to reach out to us through any of the ways listed below. We are in fact everywhere, so join in the fun!
