IDP Corner: Week 10

Trade deadlines are upon us, and maybe by throwing in a defensive player you can up the temptation in negotiations. So here are a group of guys that have been under most radars, and are starting to put in work over the past couple of weeks that will make it a little less painful to throw in a player to make that trade work.

Korey Toomer – He was out the first quarter of the season, and has produced at an acceptable rate, if you are still dealing with bye weeks this week, he is worth a look.

De’Vondre Campbell – He played a week and then was out for 4 weeks similar to Toomer’s performance this season he has come on over the past couple of weeks, and had a solid week last week. Atlanta’s linebackers are hit or miss week to week (besides Deion Jones) so I would burn down the house to get Campbell but he should continue to do decent work each week.

Adrian Clayborn – Over the past 3 weeks Clayborn has played at a just slightly better than boring rate compared to the ho hum work of the rest of his season, event without Chip Kelly Philadelphia still runs a good deal of plays so the work should be there this week.

Frank Clark – He’s had a sack a game over the past 3 weeks, but his tackles have been inconsistent all season (though better in these 3 weeks). New England loves to do all kinds of different attacks but, often tries to work the running game so Clark should get some chances this week.

Defensive Backs:

Brandon Flowers – Coming off of a big 5 tackle, 3 passes defended, and 1 interception (with a TD) last week, Flowers will see a similarly reckless QB in Ryan Tannehill this week. He certainly has talent, but being out 4 games this season has him off of most rosters.

Andrew Adams – After the injury bug hit the Giants Adams is now a starter for them, he had a solid 9 tackles, 2 passes defended, and 1 interception last week. Cincinnati should provide plenty of work for him this week.

Bradley Roby – He’s had two solid back to back weeks against passing offenses and with New Orleans on the books this week, he has the same opportunity again.

Good luck to everyone with the coming games this weekend, and as always if you have questions feel free to reach out via twitter to me @decoylife or the other gurus  @TFFGurus, @DaFantasyFather, and @TheFantasyBoys.
