3 Players To Drop: Week 11

week 10, the ultimate contenders vs. pretenders week. Playoff bound teams are breaking away from the pack while fringe teams need that last player to push them through! Week 11 is brutal with six teams on bye. Buffalo, Cleveland, Miami, New England NYJ, and San Fransisco. With many squads in must-win situations, here are 3 players you can drop in order pick up those players that will get you a win! Make sure you read Top Guru Josh Trotta’s (@trotta23) (@tffgurus) weekly waiver article and get the knowledge on who to pick up as we head into week 11.

Season-ending injury: Drop in all leagues

Cooper Kupp WR, LA Rams Torn ACL

1. Carlos Hyde RB, Jacksonville Jaguars (59% owned Yahoo!)

Fantasy owners were elated with Carlos Hyde’s early season production as a member of the Cleveland Browns. Ever since the in-season trade to the Jaguars, Hyde’s numbers have plummeted. With Leonard Fournette healthy and leading the backfield, Carlos Hyde saw 3 carries for 5 yards on Sunday. Gross, Hyde can be dropped in all formats.

2. Chris Thompson RB, Washington Redskins (59% owned Yahoo!)

The PPR machine had a good start but has only played 1 game out of the last 5. Adrian Peterson and somehow Jordan Reed seem to be the only healthy starters for the Alex Smith led offense. The Redskins offensive line also has had 3 starters go down for the season. Thompson’s injuries including his knee and ribs make him questionable for the remainder of the season, on a team with backups protecting the QB. Drop Chris Thompson now.

3. Le’Veon Bell RB, Pittsburgh Steelers? (92% owned Yahoo!)

Bell did not show up to the Steelers facility this week, ending the rest of his season and losing 14.5 million in the process. If you were the unfortunate owner to select Bell in the 1st round, held him for the season hoping for that playoff push, you do not need me to tell you how much it sucks to drop him. With the playoffs on the horizon and must-win situations in most leagues. Drop Le’veon Bell in all seasonal only leagues.

That does it for this weeks edition of 3 Players To Drop.  Good luck in Week 11! You can find me on Twitter @drod4htown and the rest of us @tffgurus on twitter. You can also visit our website for all your fantasy advice
