IDP Corner: TNF Week 10
Another week of Thursday Night Football, another divisional matchup, another likely stinker of a game, but since Cleveland is in this game we should have some solid, but not particularly amazing, fantasy production for Offensive and IDP fantasy players alike.
Jamie Collins – Christian Kirksey and Demario Davis were the tackle kings in town before Collins arrival, and after last week not much changed. Kirksey and Davis were able to maintain their averages for solo and assisted tackles in last week’s game while Collins accumulated 8 total tackles. This trend should continue as Cleveland still is not doing well and should continue to see plenty of reps on defense. All three of these players should be owned in your league, if any were dropped due to Collins joining the team, go get them.
Albert McClellan – His production saw an up-tick with C.J. Mosely on the sideline, but last week with him back and Zachary Orr still in full swing, McClellan is really just worth watching until one of those two goes down.
Emmanuel Ogbah – 3 sacks and 19 total tackles in the past 4 weeks are decent averages, though this past week he cooled off a little compared to the first 3 of those 4 weeks. If you need a bye week replacement at DL then he is worth considering.
Brandon Williams – Had a productive game two games ago, otherwise, his recent production has been ok, not crazy by any means.
Jamar Taylor – Has 5 of his 8 passes defended in the past 4 weeks, he doesn’t carry a lot of tackles, though and is likely out this week, but he could be a sneaky grab early next week if you need a DB.
Briean Boddy-Calhoun – Has been the better tackler in the secondary over those same 4 weeks, the linebackers are collecting the majority of tackles so his number have been 15 total tackles in that 4-week span.
Tavon Young – 17 total tackles in the past 4 weeks (of production, not counting a week ago’s bye) are slightly better than what is being produced in the secondary in Cleveland, and Young should be available to grab over the likely owned Eric Weddle who has slightly better numbers in the same time frame.
Good luck to everyone on your Thursday endeavors, and as always if you have questions feel free to reach out via twitter to me @decoylife or the other gurus @TFFGurus, @DaFantasyFather, and @TheFantasyBoys.
