Week 3 was another weird one and it forced more star players to the sideline with injury’s. The year of the impact player injuries continued as Big Ben and Marshawn Lynch went down in week 3. Big Ben will be sidelined for 4 to 6 weeks and Lynch seems to have escaped with a minor hamstring scare.  Injuries to Sammy Watkins, Chris Ivory and the nagging hamstring injury to LeSean McCoy could see a lot of owners running to the waiver wire for help in week 4. Don’t you worry the Guru’s are here to help. Let’s get right to our waiver wire pickups for the upcoming week.

We will rank three players at each position in order of who we think you should try and grab first. Look at the position you need the most help in and best of luck getting your player!

Quarterbacks

  1. Andy Dalton – Finally looking like an every week fantasy starter
  2. Derek Carr – Another solid week and on the road
  3. Joe Flacco – They might not be winning but he is still producing and big the last two weeks

Running Backs

  1. Karlos Williams – With the Bills internally thinking of shutting down McCoy until his hamstring is healed, Williams value skyrockets
  2. Bilal Powell – If Ivory can’t go this week Powell could be in line for a big game against a bad Miami run defense
  3. Chris Sims – With Martin continuing to struggle the lone bright spot last week was sims and his ability to make defenders miss. If he keeps it up and Martin continues to struggle there could be a changing of the guard in Tampa

Wide Receivers

  1. Marvin Jones – Put up another solid week and the Bengals are firing on all cylinders
  2. Rueben Randle – Had a solid Thursday night game and finally looked like Eli trusted him to run the right route. With Cruz coming back this week it could either hurt or help Randle. Easy matchup this week doesn’t hurt either
  3. Ted Ginn Jr. – Seeing the targets and his always good for one or two deep ball targets. Cam is looking his way and at this stage there isn’t too much left to grab

Tight Ends

  1. Charles Clay – Taylor is looking his way more and he is making the most of his targets
  2. Coby Fleener / Dwayne Allen – One has to be available and I have my money on Fleener being the higher scorer of the two come seasons end
  3. Jacob Tamme – Atlanta’s offense is one of the best in the NFL right now and next up is a favorable matchup for the TE. Keep an eye on his status as he sustained a concussion last week

Defenses

  1. Green Bay – Playing SF and they are coming off 4 TO’s from there QB and 2 Pick 6’s
  2. Philadelphia – Playing Kirk Cousins this week
  3. Cleveland – SD has been a turnover machine to start the season

Kickers

  1. Robbie Gould – Chicago should be able to move the ball this week against Oakland
  2. Sebastian Janikowski – The offense is getting better each week and is giving him more opportunities
  3. Nick Folk – Miami is a mess and he could see some good FG attempts

Good luck this week and I will see you next Tuesday! If you ever have any fantasy questions hit us up @TFFGurus or our friends at @dafantasyfather & @TheFantasyBoys.
