Week 2 is in the books and the hits just kept on coming for fantasy owners all over the world. The year of the injury continued. The beginning of the week we found out that Dez is going to need surgery and will miss anywhere between 6 to 12 weeks (Honestly no one really knows how long this guy will be out…IT”S KILLING ME…I NEED YOU BACK!!). Then on Sunday we lost “that’s my quarterback” Tony Romo who will miss the next 8 weeks with a broken collarbone, Eddie Lacy twisted his ankle but should be ok, Jay Cutler was Jay Cutler and will be out two weeks, Drew Brees has a shoulder sprain, Tevin Coleman is going to miss 1 to 2 weeks with a rib injury, Denard Robinson MCL sprain out for 4 to 6 weeks, Jerricho Cotchery suffered a high ankle sprain and could miss 2 to 4 weeks and Mike Evans had to be hurt right?! No point are you serious! Might as well have been. So ya fantasy is fun right? So this week more then ever you are in need of a waiver wire pick up. Well you have come to the right place.

We will rank three guys at each position in order of who to grab first. Look at the position you need the most help in and best of luck getting your guy!

Quarterbacks

  1. Andy Dalton – Has been rock solid and has no interceptions!
  2. Derek Carr – Week 2 might of been his coming out party. Good Offense and the game is slowing down
  3. Blake Bortles – Again everything seemed to come together last week

Running Backs

  1. Dion Lewis – Might be the best fantasy RB through 2 weeks
  2. Matt Jones – Exploded in week 2 and out touched Alfred Morris in the process. Could he be the next Alfred Morris?
  3. Devonte Freeman / James Starks – Only if Lacy is going to miss some time should you look at Starks. Keep an eye on Lacy’s ankle sprain before pulling the trigger. Devonte Freeman will be the man in Atlanta for a few weeks you can book it

Wide Receivers

  1. Travis Benjamin – Through two weeks he has more points then Dez and Megatron so worth a shot. The targets are low and if it’s not Manziel under center we feel his value dips
  2. Michael Crabtree – Had 16 targets last week and he produced last week. Targets are a great sign of production for a wide receiver and we don’t see his targets going down anytime soon
  3. Donte Moncrief – As long as T.Y. Hilton isn’t at 100% Moncrief will see the field more then usual. Should be in line for another solid start after it looked like T.Y. Hilton re aggravated his knee injury on Monday Night

Tight Ends

  1. Crockett Gilmore – Baltimore loves the Tight End (Get it!) and he saw the targets and turned in a solid week. Could continue as he and Flacco get more comfortable.
  2. Eric Ebron – Finally is starting to show why he was drafted so highly by the Lions last year.
  3. Richard Rodgers – Plays for GB, starting TE…enough said!

Defenses

  1. Cleveland – Oakland is coming to town and they are riding high after a big week 2 win
  2. Dallas – Only going to get better when some of there stars return from suspension and injury
  3. Cincinnati – Have been rock solid through 2 weeks and they play so well at home

Kickers

  1. Nick Folk – Jets offense has been solid so far and he is kicking well
  2. Josh Brown – Giants play on Thursday night and could see some sloppy play leading to FG attempts
  3. Robbie Gould – Tough matchup and Cutler is hurt but could lead to more FG opportunities

Good luck this week and I will see you next Tuesday! If you ever have any fantasy questions hit us up @TFFGurus or our friends at @dafantasyfather & @TheFantasyBoys.
